Once it's in place he begins to return the rest of his spilled belongings to their places on top of it. "Or we're gonna take turns breaking it." It's better that he forget the horrible thing exists again, and Maya can pretend it doesn't, because he knows she'll remember. 'Dora droops visibly and gives a sad little trill. He doesn't understand why Krieg and Maya hate something that was so important to Angel, but he believes Krieg absolutely will break it if 'Dora gets it out again.
